Unlike traditional images where there is a craftsman and then some more "professional" types, here we have a woman etching beautiful stars onto a crumbling wall. She is lifted up and supported in the arms of a man, who echoes her in dress and look.
I love this reminder that it is easier to be creative when we have someone to share our passion and be willing to stick by us while we get on with things. Someone to lend a strong arm, a shoulder to cry on, or hands to start the applause. And with a true partner, when the shoe is on the other foot, we'll happily do the supporting, too.
I am grateful for the loving support I receive in my creative endeavours.
